Coronavirus: Effort or Emuna?
Sunday, 22 March 2020
People are confused, especially when some rabbis have padlocked their synagogues while for others, it's business as usual. Many are asking me if listening to one's local medical authorities and refraining from praying in a synagogue or immersing in a men's mikva constitutes a lack of emuna. Today's podcast provides a detailed answer...
The tendency that we all have is to be arrogant as you say, trying to show other that we are very hard and that we can defy the illness.... But we indeed have to be strong and confident at the same time in our emuna that we depend on Hashem´s mercy.......
Thank you dear Rabbi for making this clear for us, because we were thinking about what was the right thing to do in this case.
